Our Vision Statement expresses well who we seek to be as followers of Jesus Christ:

Calvary Baptist Church is a Christ-centered community of faith devoted to the worship of the Living God. Committed to a deeper understanding of God's word, we aspire to grow personally and communally, to become a sanctuary for all God's people, and to pour out God's love in the local and global community.

We seek to enact this vision through Calvary's Kingdom Concept--the place where our collective gifts, passion for Jesus and opportunities for God overlap:

Calvary Baptist is located at the corner of 18th Street and Bosque Ave in the Sanger Heights Neighborhood of Waco, Texas. 


We have Sunday School classes for all ages beginning at 9:30 AM (although most classes normally get started around 9:45), and worship begins at 10:45 AM.  A greeter will welcome you and point you in the right direction.


Some people dress up on Sundays, and some people dress down, so whatever you wear, you will fit right in. Whether this is your first time in church, your first time in a long time, or you've grown up in church every Sunday, all are welcome!
