Sunday School at Calvary

At Calvary, we believe that life is best lived in community with one another. Sunday School classes that meet every week provide sacred spaces for us to gather around Scripture as we seek to learn from, give to, and receive from one another, by God’s grace. We meet for Sunday School weekly at 9:30 AM.

  • All-stars

We are a class of middle-aged Christians who enjoy laughing together, sharing the joy in life, and learning about our faith from multiple perspectives. Many of us have children ranging from elementary school to post-college, and some of us are blessed with grandchildren! We rejoice in our triumphs and walk alongside each other in times of difficulty. (Room C303)

  • Young Adults

Our class is an eclectic gathering of students, professionals and sojourners. We take two things seriously: time spent learning about one another, and time spent pursuing the many ways God and Scripture intersect with our personal and collective lives.

    (Room C302)

  • intergenerational

Our class is a mixture of age groups (20’s through 90’s) that allows for generational perspectives and experiences to be brought into each week’s Scripture teaching. In addition, regular fellowship activities provide great opportunities for getting to know one another more personally and deeply.

  • Work of the people

The Work of the People class watches videos each week from a website of the same name, allowing us to hear diverse voices from our faith to guide reflections on how we are called to live our faith in the world around us. The all ages class is open to everyone and we value the hard questions that keep us wrestling with our faith.
